Looking for Saudi Arabia based Professionals with Transferable Iqama.

 

 

Positions:

 

1)                Database Administrator.

2)                SUN System Administrator.

 

 

 

 

Role Title: Database Administrator.

 

Requirement Specification

Proficient in: -

·          

·         Total Experience of 5+ years

·         1-2 Years of working experience in DR site setup and DR Drills (Desirable)

·         1-2 years experience in very extensive performance tuning of Oracle DB

·         Updating DB with latest CPU and PSU patches for proactive maintenance

·         Installing and upgrading the Oracle 10g R2 to Oracle 11g on Sun SPRAC Solaris, HP UX Server and Windows.

·         Responsible to manage and Support all PROD and DEV instances of Oracle 10g and above.

·         Physically Configuring the Oracle clients with Oracle server. 

·         Creating and managing primary database storage structures like Tablespaces, data files etc.

·         Creating and Managing the Schema Objects.

 ·         Creating and Maintaining permanent and Temp Tablespaces.

·         Creating and Managing Control file, Redo log files, Transportable Tablespaces.

·         Creating and Managing Roles, Privileges, Temporary tables etc.

·         Enrolling users and maintaining system security, Auditing.

·         Using Oracle Utilities for Data Transfer, Data Maintenance, and Database Administration.

·         Using EMC Networker Storage Manager for backups.

·         Logical Backup and restore using legato backup system.

·         Using Oracle Flashback Technology.

·         Using SQL*Loader.

·         Perform DB Cloning in different Servers.

 ·         Backup and recovery using Recovery Manager (RMAN) Utility.

·         Enhancement of Backup and recovery technology to improve RTO

·         Controlling and Monitoring User access to the database and maintain tight security on DB

·         Planning and implementing appropriate backup and Recovery for the database.

·         Configuring and Maintain Data Guard. (Desirable)

·         Monitoring the Oracle Alert, Trace File and Events. 

·         Performance and Tuning.

·         Oracle Patch installation and management.

• Experience in designing databases, build and deployment of  critical applications
• Experience in database administration of 10g/11g databases on heterogeneous and complex DC environment
• Experience in installing, configuring and administering 10g/11g R2 RAC databases.
• Experience in upgrading databases to higher versions of oracle
• Experience in configuring Disaster Recovery Site for single instance and RAC databases
• Capacity planning of critical production databases
• Experience in various scenarios of Database Recovery
• Cloning of production databases for creation of DEV/UAT environments
• Database performance monitoring, database parameters tuning.

 

Experience in: -

• Hands on experience for Configuring Oracle RAC with ASM and integration with SUN or HP cluster
• Performance tuning
• Hands on experience on Database recovery using RMAN utility/flash recovery.

 

Capable of: -

Effective communication, requirement tracking, innovative and proactive in problem resolving

 

 

 

Mandatory Technical Skillset expected: -

• Must have sound UNIX Shell scripting
• Must have sound Oracle cluster knowledge
• Oracle 10g Certification
• Oracle 11g/12g Certification (Desirable)

Role Title: SUN System Administrator.

 

Requirement Specification

Proficient in: -

• 6+ years of experience in all family servers of SUN Administration
• Demonstrated expertise supporting Sun Hardware (10k, 15k, 25k, M-Series)
• Demonstrated expertise supporting high availability clusters (Virtualization Zones and LDOMs, Sun cluster, QFS )
• Demonstrated skills in project management.
• Strong advocate of defining/conforming to standards for support processes and procedures.
• Demonstrated skills in oral, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Install, configure, test, and diagnose, performance management, document and support components such as operating systems, major software subsystems and program products.
• Specialize in virtualization solutions for mid range platforms (Solaris Zones, LDOMs)
• Specialize in Clustering and High Availability solutions (Sun Cluster 3.2 QFS shared File system, Sun Volume Manager -SVM, )
• Hands on experience on Sun high end hardware (10k, 15k, 25k, M-Series)
• Unix Shell and Perl Scripting experience
• Exposure to automation, monitoring and scheduling tools like Opsware, HP Open View, BMC and Autosys.
• Good understanding of NFS, NAS and SAN Storage.
• Good understanding of critical networking elements like Firewalls, NAT, Routers, and Load Balancers
• Excellent exposure to UNIX/Break Fix and handling Bridge calls during Incidents.
• Promote team cohesion and execution of team decisions.
• Identify and document standards and strategy.
• Review all installed software/hardware configurations to ensure optimum reliability and performance.
• Coordinate and manage multiple projects across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams in the client server environment.
• Conduct root cause analysis of incidents to fix and improve processes.
• Conduct planning meetings with technical teams, vendors and other businesses to determine project requirements, scope, priorities, etc.
• Perform all other assigned tasks.
• Interfaces with other systems, internal/external checks, controls and outputs.
• Interfaces with clients to provide ongoing project status.
• Vendor management as per SLA and contracts
• Strong team/customer focus.
• Strong problem diagnostics skills.
• OS Patch and kernel tuning and management.
• UNIX Shell scripting
• ZFS management
• SUN Cluster implementation
• OS problem troubleshooting
• Unix server zone configuration and maintenance

·         Backing up the file systems and recovering files as needed (BACKUP'S   AND RECOVERY). 

·         Configuring NFS, FTP, Cachefs, Autofs, and Webfs. 

·         Configuring Send Mail Server, Exceed (X-client for UNIX) 

• Configuring Network Information Service (NIS), Network Information Service plus (NIS+).

·         Configuring Samba Server.

·         Configuring and maintaining directory structures rights Security and software on servers. 

 

Experience in: -

• Monitoring logs & fixing the errors of cluster related issues.
• Good knowledge of networking concepts.

 

Capable of: -

Effective communication, requirement tracking, innovative and proactive in problem resolving

 

Mandatory Technical Skillset expected: -

• Must have sound UNIX Shell scripting
• Must have sound SUN cluster knowledge
• Certification is mandatory

Educational Qualifications: BE, Diploma, MCA (any discipline).

 

Experience Range: Must have 5-6 yrs of industry experience with a minimum of 3-4 yrs. of relevant experience in telecom domain.
