Job Description:

Position-Section Manager - EHS 

1. To provide guidance and monitor implementation of safeworking
practices by the contract workforce working at project site in
co-ordination with the safety representatives of  various contractors to
ensure accident free execution of project. 2. Auditing the safety systems
and personal protective equipments being used by the contractors and
ensuring that adequate procedures are being followed to meet environmental
compliances and proper handling of hazardous materials.3. Assisting in
developing and verifying specifications of equipments along with
engineering group from the point of safety, environment and health and
confirming that equipments meet the desired EHS requirements when put to
use.4. Co-coordinating with the project management consultants to ensure
that statutory approvals are obtained as well as ensuring that all
statutory compliance s are being met during project execution stage.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Engineering with an experience of 6-8or more years
in a manufacturing setup managing health and safety
SAP knowledge, Interpersonal skills and liasoning with Government
officials and Industrial Safety Department
BE, BTech or Diploma from a reputed institute Diploma in Industrial Safety
from NSO
