We are currently screening and shortlisting candidates for a Project in Dammam Position: HSE Lead Industry: Construction & Engineering Location: Dammam, KSA Experience level: 5-10 years Project Info: Our client is awarded a Program Management Support Contract (PMSC) to provide program management support to the overall PME program management effort, oversight for the Terrestrial remediation, conduct field construction oversight of the terrestrial resources restoration activity. In particular, the PMSC provides task oversight and reporting of Remediation Contractor activities. Environmental remediation will take place along a vast geographical area including the entire Saudi Arabia/Kuwait border where allied forces mobilized prior to moving into Kuwait to dislodge Iraqi occupational forces Job Summary: Provides health, safety and environmental (HSE) oversight of PME Remediation Contractors to ensure work complies with health and safety plans as approved for the project. Provides HSE support to company staff and direct subcontractors. Ensures compliance with approved plans, corporate policies and to maintain a safe environment for all staff. Performs routine duties requiring knowledge of general health and safety principles. This is a field position with extended periods of work on remote desert sites sites in the impacted areas. The position will require extended work from field camps. Key Duties: •Review the HSE plan and recommend changes in line with prevailing changes in local conditions. •Implement agreed HSE policies, procedures and practices in all aspects of Project work. •Initiate and personally carry out a schedule of regular site inspections to ensure HSE compliance. •Perform oversight and conduct assessments of PME contractor HSE practices against site specific safety plan. •Deliver safety briefings to company and subcontractor workforce. •Maintain HSE records and documentation, and report in accordance with project requirements.
