System Administrator

 

Qualification                         :               B Tech

 

Experience                            :               4 -5 years of System & Network Administration           

 

Skill set                                  :              

·         Installing, managing and troubleshooting Windows 2003/2008 Server based networks.

·         Knowledge in MS Windows server administration: Active Directory, DNS, Proxy, DHCP etc

·         Ability to co-ordinate with the Vendors for the task scheduling and  service delivery

·         Implementing security and installing applications using Group Policies

·         Setting up fault tolerance using s/w or h/w RAID.

·         Good Knowledge in MS- Exchange server 2007

·         Managing user accounts & Shares and File Permissions & disk quota & file screening.

·         Knowledge in configuring ISA server

·         Knowledge in Symantec Backup Exec 2010 products.

·          Knowledge in Symantec Backup System Recovery 2010 products.

·         Experience in HP Servers, Storages, Tape Libraries,

·         Experience on NAS

·         Experience on Cisco Routers and  VPN setup

·         Microsoft & Cisco certification will be a  plus.

 

 

Job Description                    :              

·         He will be responsible for 4-5 Wintel Servers.

·         He will  maintain and  manage 2003 Active  directory and  Exchange 2007 

·         He will be responsible for backups and escalations related to it.

·         Co-ordinate with the  Service  providers for Servers , Tape Drive and UPS (Ability to co-ordinate with the Vendors for the task scheduling and  service delivery)

·         He will ensure  the  Anti Virus  is  functioning  properly with all the  updates

·         He will be handling  Symantec Backup products

·         He will manage ISA Proxy & Exchange  2007 servers

·         He will also be responsible for the POS H/W support. 

·         He will be  ready to put  in long  hours in stretch during DR or Setup Activities
