Dear anees, We have Immediate opening with one of our Client for the Position - Desktop Support Engineer ( Level 1 & 2 ) Requirements Desktop Support Engineer Job Details: • Fault diagnosis and resolution of software and system errors on the desktop (escalating to 3rd line teams when necessary). • Fault diagnosis of desktop hardware and co-ordination of repairs and replacements (escalating to Vendors for repair when necessary) • Software installation and decommissioning of desktop hardware • Coordination and support for offsite events and special requests • Manage and implement desktop projects and products – support global and local desktop initiatives such as XP hot fix which may involve cross streams collaboration • Support for Remote Branch Offices • All work to be completed within strict Key Performance Index (KPI) • Act as focal point for users and coordinate issues/requests through to resolution/completion • Escalate issues in a timely manner that may impact the business/users. The role also requires you to have a technical understanding of the technology and the business requirement such that those problems are resolved efficiently and in line with business need.
