They have urgent opening for the post of QA/QC Manager to be based at Pune Requirement BE(Chem) with 8-12 yrs exp in quality preferably with 3-4 yrs exp in Polyurethane field from chemical/pharmaceutical industry experienced in SAP QM Module Knowledge of methodology & statistical techniques ISO 9001 TS 16949 other QMS tools Job Description 1. Leads and manages a team to achieve valuable results. 2. Maintaining quality standards for incoming materials, ensuring stringent adherence to quality standards & identifying gaps and taking corrective action. 3. Ensuring adherence to quality standards, implementing stringent quality control systems and reduce rejection level & rework. 4. Actively involved in implementing & executive various quality improvement projects on various quality systems. 5. Conducting rejection analysis & implementing/suggesting improvements for reducing rejections. 6. Conducting vendor audits 7. Review of formulations and specifications. 8. Redressal Of Customer Complaints 9. Determine new quality parameters, tools and techniques to improve the Quality Assurance standards and the quality issues prevention. 10. Provide support to Account Managers and Technical team cooperating in customer assistance in case of quality issues. Indentify the issues origin and cause and propose the best corrective and preventive action to win back the customer confidence 11. Identification of cause for problem could be either by Why-Why analysis with usage of suitable statistical tools. 12. Set-up, coordinate and monitor re-work strategies for rejected material which minimize cost and waste. 13. Initiate necessary actions as per the Quality Management guidelines. 14. Management Representative for ISO 9001:2008 QMS 15. Lead & implement QMS initiatives like TS 16949. 16. Manage the QA/QC laboratory purchasing process in line with budget. 17. Ensure all the EHS standards and local legislation is strictly complied within the QA/QC labs, also by acting as internal trainer towards associates. Act as a support for all matters to be coordinated with the Pollution control Board. 18. Compiles and coordinates monthly reports for QA/QC performance, also leads and coordinates on Slow moving and obsolete material liquidation. 19. Coordinates closely with the European regional QA/QC and incorporates standard practices as well as improvements from learning"s from other similar sites.
