Library Trainees : 03 Posts, Stipend : Consolidated Rs.8000/- p.m.
Qualification : Post Graduate in Library and Information Science (above 55% marks) with knowledge of Computer. Trainees will be required to work in shifts.
Data Entry Operator Trainee : 15 Posts, Stipend : Consolidated Rs.4500/- p.m.
Qualification : H.S.C. + C.O.P.A. (Computer Operator cum Programming Assistant) (First Class) from ITI or its equivalent passed in the year 2009 and onwards. Selection will be based on merit basis
Age Limit 35 years and relaxable by 5 years for SC / ST candidates, 3 years for Other Backward Class and 10 years for Physically Handicapped

About the organization:
The Institute for Plasma Research can trace its roots back to early 1970′s when a coherent and interactive programme of theoretical and experimental studies in plasma physics with an orientation towards understanding space plasma phenomena was established at the Physical Research laboratory. The early studies were on simulation of E x B instabilities characteristic of the equatorial electrojet, plasma-neutral gas interaction with relevance to the cometary plasma-solar wind interaction and single particle confinement in non-adiabatic magnetic mirrors. Experiments on non-linear ion acoustic waves and double layers were added later. High power plasma experiments using intense electron beams to form compact toroids and electron rings in toroidal devices started in 1978 reflected a re-orientation to fusion-relevant experiments.
