The JD IS as Below:
Position: Network engineer L2
Openings: one
Location: Texas instruments, Bangalore.
Qualification: Essential Diploma or Desirable Graduate
Experience: 2-3 yrs


3+ years experience as a network engineer in a large-scale corporate environment. Should be well versed in configuring and managing higher end Cisco switches like 6500 series. Cisco routers 3800 and higher series. Should be strong in VLAN concepts and Routing fundamentals. Exposure to WLAN is preferable.

Knowledge on WAN setups is essential apart from managing, monitoring leased lines and coordination with Telecom suppliers from the max uptime. Experience on reporting tools like SNMPC. Net flow is essential. Certification: CCNA is mandatory, CCNP is preferred. Engineer must have experience using incident tracking tools.

He must interface with customers daily to schedule and provide service for supported platforms. Excellent customer service, teaming and communication skills are required. The engineer must be able to follow established support processes and incident tracking guidelines
