We have a Senior Engineer - Quality, vacancy in a large Automobile MNC and the position is based in Chennai.


Brief Job Description:

Principal Purpose of Position
· The purpose of this position is to fully handle the Process Quality Control & Assurance


Principal Responsibilities:
· Customer PPAP
· In-house Process Quality Control
· Process monitoring thro' Process Audit as per Schedule
· QA Document maintenance – Process Flow, Control Plan, Work Instruction, Check Sheet, MEA
· To carry out Product Destructive Tests as per schedule.
· Checking Gauges & Inspection Gauges Calibration
· Quality Concerns Review & Countermeasure implementation
· To implement TS16949 Activities.


Competencies
· TS 16949 Standard knowledge
· Knowledge in Problem Solving Tools
· Knowledge in Engineering Drawing reading
· Computer literacy – MS Office ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc )
· CMM ( Coordinate Measuring Machine ) knowledge – Added advantage

Education and Experience

· BE Mechanical with 3 to 4 years relevant experience / Dip. in Mech with 5 to 6 years relevant experience
