TXM Quality Assurance Engineer

1. ROLE DETAILS:

 

Job Title                               :               TXM Quality Assurance Engineer

Contract Position             :               Field engineer

Department                       :               TXM O&M

Function                              :               Operations

Reports To                          :               Executive Manager TXM Quality Assurance 

 

 

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Description

 

•             Develop audit control quality systems for deficiency and creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.

•             Ensuring the quality assurance objectives and targets are achieved.

•             Ensure that all Quality activities pertaining to operation and maintenance have been scheduled and executed as per plan.

•             Ensure that all changes done in the network as per Process / Documentation are in accordance with the approved Standard Procedure.

•             Follow up and report the corrective and preventive programs.

•             Follow up Root cause analysis and incidents reports.

•             Contribute to develop the current process and procedures and improve upon the quality standards

•             Report monthly on deficiencies in the networks and provide correction plan and follow up.

•             Review the Telecom acceptance procedures on regular basis.

•             Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing monthly statistical reports .

•             Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system.

 

 

3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Knowledge/Education

•             Bachelor's Degree Telecommunications Engineering

•             SDH ,DWDM ,FTTH,E/M,FOC works experience

•             Very Good knowledge in all operations and maintenance process and procedures

 

Relevant Experience & Skills

 

•             4-5 years engineering experience

•             Active, Creative and Staff Motivation

•             Very good managerial skills.

•             Understands the principles of OSP and Transmission quality evaluation and control.

•             Ability to evaluate OSP and Transmission systems and procedures for all Operation activities

•             Proficient in statistical techniques and analysis.

•             Proficient in MS Office products specially in Excel and Access programs

•             Good Communication Skills.

•             Analytical skills and Conceptual Thinking.
